The Evaluation Of Personality Characteristics And The Correlation Research On The Coping Style Of Criminal Police

Personality is an aspect of psychological quality of police. It affects police's work and it is an important content on recruiting, selecting, and training. It is an index in evaluating outstanding police.We investigated the personality traits, coping style and the correlation analysis of 229 criminal police by doing a questionnaire survey, explored the effect of demographic features and coping style on personality trait, tried to base the theory model of criminal police's personality characteristics, inquired the measures to improve the personality traits, provided scientific suggestions for changing the psychological health state of criminal police and tightened up the managent of public security members.229 criminal police including 35 female and 194 male completed the questionaire of the demographic features, MMPI and coping style.The result were compared in many groups. There were higher scores in drug police, young police whose age were under 35 and whose job experience were under five years, graduates from colleges and universities,group masters.
