The Research Of Criminal Police’s Motivating Model On The Basis Of Psychological Contract

Encouragement is very important in human resource management. The traditional incentive theory was primarily put forward and applied in business management. After that, the scholar has applied the theory in the management of the government office and the management of the non government organization. With the deepening of the research, the concept of psychological contract was put forward. Through the research of domestic and foreign scholars, the theory has been applied in business management. Some of them have applied the theory in the management of non profit organization and the management of the non government organization. The bureau of public security has taken various kinds of incentive methods to encourage the policemen. But these methods are based on the traditional incentive theory. With the development of the society, these methods aren’t always useful.The improvement of the police’s enthusiasm for work is the key to the improvement of the team fighting capacity.Therefore, the application of psychological contract theory is very important in the management of the bureau of public security. The theory is especially important to the encouragement of the criminal police.Firstly, analyzing the traditional incentive theory and the definition about the psychological contract given by the various scholars. To identify the characters、content and the structure of the psychological contract. Secondly, analyzing the fulfillment of the psychological contract to the work behavior. According to the theory and the research findings of others, the author conduct a sample survey into the criminal policeman. The target sample survey conducted statistical analysis to identify the status of the criminal policeman’s psychological contract. According to the theory of the psychological contract and the result of the survey, we identify the insufficiency of the current motivating model, such as compensation mechanism and so on. Thirdly, analyzing the incentive methods taken by the government of England and America and the methods taken by the government of Hong Kong. Finally, according to the result of the research, the author put forward criminal police’s motivating model on the basis of psychological contract and the guiding principles. Motivating methods including:criminal police’s motivating methods on the basis of trade contract, on the basis of relationship contract and on the basis of developing contract.
