The Studying Of Ying Xian Timber Tower Liao Dynasty Secret Book Suzi

The fact that Chinese culture has great effects on the minority nationality is proved by "Ying Xian timber tower Liao dynasty secret book (short form is Liao Zang) " powerfully. In 1994, the book was excavated from Ying Xian timber tower of Shan Xi province , it was carved from Tonghe 8 to Xianyong 7 ( the Christian era 990-1070), which is the precious material for our study on Liao dynasty's Suzi.Liao dynasty's Chinese character was in proper place both in Chinese character history and in the exchange between China and foreign countries. Incomplete Liao Zang is wood block for printing edition, which reflects Chinese characters' features after applying wood block for printing technique . Qidan not only craved Buddhist Scripture in Chinese character , but also spread it to other countries . Now the important part of Gaoli Zang is called Qidan Zang , or Liao Zang . It is important to study Liao dynasty's suzi using incomplete Liao Zang .Chinese character is a kind of information carrier , a kind of symbol which is created and used commonly by society . So it must exist as a system, in which zhengzi is the main body while suzi is attaching to it. Miaofa Lianhua Jing which is selected from Liao Zang has 140, 000 Chinese characters totally. This paper picked out 458 suzi from them according to some principles.
