Discussing Qifang He's New Poem Theory

Qifang He is a famous literature theorist, writer and poet. Qifang's theory about new poem is influential in the modern history. He pays attention to absorb Chinese traditional poem advantages, such as regular rhyme, considered to modern Chinese language. He brings about the theory of modern rules and forms, of classical poetic Chinese composition, which is both suitable to modern Chinese and regular rhyme. The essay is about his opinion. It is divided into three big parts. First, analyzing the relationship between new poems and new verses of Qifang. Second, the most important, discussing his theory about poetry and the theory's aesthetic sense. Last, probing the feature of the theory. From 1953 , Qifang's theory aroused a warm discussion. After a long time, it came into end in the affirmative. Recently, the new researchers continuous increase, which they hold different opinion, and the opposite ideas. This is a normal thing. My essay tries to probe Qifang's new poem and his poem theory feature in a systematic way.
