The dramatist group of"WuJiang", which was led by ShenJing, carried on the group of"KunShan"and opened a way for the group of"SuZhou". It played an important role in the history of Chinese drama theories. The study about this subject in recent two decades was circling the"Contestation between TangXianzu and ShenJing"and some head dramatists, such as ShenJing and WangJide. This thesis focuses on three problems: the first one is about the definition of the members; the second one is about the Critical Review of ShenJing' s theory of rhyme and vocalization, and the last one is about the relationship between the theories and the productions. ShenJing made a conclusive research of the principles of rhyme in the dramas, aiming to upbuilding a criterion that all dramas in the Ming Dynasty could follow.Besides ShenJing, WangJide, LuTiancheng, ShenChongsui, FengMenglong, ect, also belonged to this group. Although their focuses on drama theories are different, they established the basis of critical theories, vocal theories and drama adaptation theories. The group of"WuJiang"led the development of the dramas in the Ming Dynasty with its production and theories.
