Recently, the drug addicts' damaged behavior inhibition has been a major topic in many researches and studies about drug dependence. Due to the typical behavior of heroin addicts, which produces difficulties to utter abstinence in a long term, our present study tries to discuss the damaged behavior inhibition and its dynamic changing characteristics based on three experiment models in the lab. It aims to explore some factors which influence the function of heroin abstinents' behavior inhibition, and make better explanation to the behavior of relapse after abstinence. Meanwhile, the study also finds some effective way to solve the behavior of relapse and prevent heroin abuse. Therefore, the whole research gives some valuable information on helping the addicts to get utter abstinence in practice. This study presents three experiments.Experiment 1 examines the function of heroin abstinents' behavior inhabitation and its dynamic characteristics by using stop-signal pattern. Experiment 2 examines the function of conflict inhibition and its dynamic nature by using stroop task. Experiment 3 examines heroin abstinents' ability to change attention and its' dynamic by using inhibition of return pattern.Resulted from the three experiments above mentioned, we have made such following conclusions:1. Heroin abstinents' stop-signal reaction time is longer than normal people2. Heroin abstinents' ability to resist the conflict stimulation is obviously lower than normal people3. Heroin abstinents' ability to return inhabitation is obviously lower than normal people.4 Heroin abstinents' damaged behavior inhibition can't be improved while extendingthe time for abstinence.
