The Research Of Jia-Yi Xinshu Antonyms And Hanyu Da Cidian Related Items

Jia-Yi is the renowned political commentator, the writer, in the early time of Western Han Dynasty, and dozens of his works have to be handed down for generations, Only"Xinshu"can spread until now with 56 various subclasses and five Fu. Predecessors to the research on "Xinshu" concentrate much on edition collating, for lack of the research from the linguistics angle.we choose the antonyms in "Xinshu" as the research object. Regarding semantic research in the Western Han Dynasty literature language, its value does not need to talk too much. The antonym firstly needs to satisfy following two premises following: First, they are in the identical time, in identical language identical kind of dialect. Second, the language style is same.Secondly antonyms have the following characteristics: first, as for semantic analysis, among its main semantic ingredients, only one then is opposite in the logic, others are all the same; second, the two belong to the same semantic category, in other words, they are the same on lexical category; third, they must conform to nationality's psychological customs, in other words, when everybody compares these words, the psychological orientation is in the different aspect, not in the same aspect. Otherwise these words and expressions are synonyms, not the antonyms. This research pointed out its original meaning according to"Shuowen"and"Erya", then confirmed its significance in the development of meaning and in the illustrative sentences of "Xinshu" . this study can provide some material for the correction of"Hanyu Da Cidian". Its achievement manifests in six aspects: First, it directs "Xinshu"as the quotation for the beginning; Second, quotation late,The most serious example has been late for 1500 years; Third, there is not quotation, may rest on "Xinshu" to supplement; Fourth, directs the quotation to be wrong, there are directs the wrong character, also has the understanding to contain errors but directs the wrong quotation; Fifth, explanation word meaning not accurate; Sixth, righteousness item not entire. This topic according to "Xinshu" the antonym research results, carries on the adjustment to the correlation items , I hope it can help the revision of "Hanyu Da Cidian" .
