Neijing (Inner Canon) is a classic work of the fradifional Chinese medicine, it contains abundant medical science terminology and general vocabularies, so it has important value on the linguistics. This paper makes a research Neijing's glossary in order provide some references for the researching the history of Chinese language and compiling and revising of language dictionaries.In comparison with the most currently authority Hanvu Da Cidian (the Great Chinese Dictionary), this paper takes Neijing for example and points out that there are five problems in Hanyu Da Cidian, such as some entries lacking, documentary evidence lating, documentary evidence being omitted, words being lost and inaccurate explanation, using methods of comparison, statistical and aposteriori. The main reason, in author's opinion, is that the compilers of Hanyu Da Cidian looked down on the earlier medicine literatures, so they could not make use of the glossary datums effectively.By studing we come a recognition that the language value of Neijing can not be neglected. The glossary of Neijing can add some new paraphrase for the language dictionaries, bring forward some words documentary evidence ages, subjoin words and documentary evidence for the language dictionaries, and reinforce some words definition etc. So studing Neijing means a sreat deal, no matter to the studing the history of Chinese language, or to the compiling and revising of language dictionaries.
