The Poverty And Antipoverty Of America In Lyndon Johnson's Administration

In America ,The Lyndon Johnson time was an era full of affluent and poverty. But the prosperity of social economy had hidden the fact of serious poverty .How to recognize the problem of poverty and how to carry out the antipoverty measures is very urgent to American government. Most of this 10 years. Lyndon Johnson was the President of the US. So the thesis is the poverty and antipoverty of Lyndon Johnson government. In this paper, the author applied the method combined theoretical analysis with historical facts. So as to clarify the problem.There are 4 parts in this paper .the first part is affluent and poverty: American society in the Lyndon Johnson time, in this part, the author firstly introduces the fact of social prosperity in 1960s, the prosperity of American economy benefited from the development of science and technology. As a result of the social prosperity, the social frame had changed greatly , there are more white collars than blue collars in America. The white collars are representative of the American affluent. The affluent hided the poverty, Many people thought that the problem of poverty had no longer existed.
