In Chinese history, the unification of pre-Qin period, Qin Dynasty and Han Dynasty is changable but developing, and the unification of thought also experiences a period from none to one. Before Xia dynasty and Shang dynasty, China is not united, therefore there is no consensus of unified thought. Zhou dynasty can be considered as a united dynasty in our country, and it is also the first period that the unified thought comes to begin; Qin Dynasty is the first unified centralization country in Chinese history, but it doesn't form a unified thought; During the 471 years of Han Dynasty ( including the Xin Mang Regime and Shu-Han Regime ) ,the thought of unification is formed and carried out. This paper tries to make it clear in five chapters by time order. The first chapter is mainly about the unified thought in pre-Qin period. It focuses on the unified thought in Zhou Dynasty. The regime of Qin Dynasty is regarded as a tyranny no matter what it does for the unification of the country, the most important reason is that it emphasizes ruling on law but ignores the differeces and gaps which have formed for hundreds of years since the Six-countries appeared. In Chapter Three ,the paper writes the war between Chu and Han which lasts forfive years. It's easy to judge which social system is better to rule the country-----Zhou'sor Qin's? But Xiang Yu can't understand the reasons behind successes or failures of...
