The character of the narrative of Chinese-translated Buddhist scripture of Eastern Han and Three Kingdoms is very different to that of local Chinese narrative. This paper analyzes the narrative logic, narrative spatiotemporal, narrative style and narrative structure of Chinese-translated Buddhist scripture of Eastern Han and Three Kingdoms. All the paper is divided into the following five chapters:Chapter 1: the analysis of the narrative logic of the Chinese-translated Buddhist scripture of Eastern Han and Three Kingdoms. As the logic of Chinese-translated Buddhist scripture, the idea of karma permeates into all the narration of the scripture. One of the two expressing forms of narrative logic is the narrative logic that he who does good will get good result and will get bad result while doing evil. The other is the narrative logic that he who evolves from evil will get good at once.Chapter 2: the analysis of the narrative spatiotemporal of Chinese-translated Buddhist scripture of Eastern Han and Three Kingdoms. The description of the early Chinese-translated Buddhist scripture is embodied as the view of the surrealistic narrative spatiotemporal. As to the narrate order, various skills of statement such as flashback, narration interspersed with flashbacks and pre-narration are used frequently.Chapter 3: the analysis of the narrative style of the Chinese-translated Buddhists scripture of Eastern Han and Three Kingdoms. In these scriptures, many narrative perspectives are used. The first person narrated by "I" is used so often that the omniscient visual angle has been the significant character of early Chinese-translated Buddhist scripture. The alternate using of the omniscient visual angle and the limitary knowing angle makes up the miracle Buddhist tales. Also, modeling narration is the character of Buddhist scripture. As to the narrative rhetoric, the wide using of rhetoric shows the great imagination of Buddhist scripture fully.Chapter 4: the analysis of the narrative structure of Chinese-translated Buddhist scripture of Eastern Han and Three Kingdoms. The narrative structure includes two aspects: deep structure composed by the thinking of karma and reincarnation (idea of structure) and surface structure appeared as grape structure of de-mixing narrative (technology of structure).Chapter 5: a brief discussion on the influence of the narrative of the Chinese-translated Buddhist scripture of Eastern Han and Three Kingdoms. The fiction narration which is significantly different to Chinese historic narrative acts as an accelerator to the birth of the narrative of novel; the view of karma and reincarnation has been the key of novel's structure.
