The Modern Nature Set By "Time"

The production of the modern nature of the Chinese literature and its change become one of the warm topics by researchers. The concept of modern itself concludes the meaning of time. It is a feasible way of understanding the modern literature to discuss the modern nature of the Chinese literature. The result of modernization is to develop to the age of technology. In the age of technology, the life of men is controlled by technology. Time, as an external force, becomes a powerful force to control the life of men. The relationship between men and time becomes a very important problem. This relationship gets its way into literature and the concept of it. In the modern Chinese literature, time concept and time consciousness participate into the structure of modern literature with unprecedented influence.Firstly, in chapter â…  of the thesis, I card the development of time concept in western philosophy and the time concept in the Chinese traditional cultures. The modern experience of time is the important building factor of the modem Chinese literature.Secondly, in Chapter â…¡, I discuss the expression that the experience of time in the modern Chinese literature. I relate the diverse expression of time with the theory of time concept by French scholar Yves Vade to explain Modern Chinese Literature' diversified time states. And in terms of style, I discuss the relationship between time, time concept, time consciousness and Chinese modern diaries and diaristic literature emphatically, and analyze the time meaning of the diaristic style of A Mad Man' Diaries written by Lu Xun. And furthermore, discuss the richness of literature' statement ways that the change of time concept gets into the build of literature.Finally, in Chapter â…¢, on the basis of the first two chapters, and on the aspect of value judgment, I explained the relationship between the idea of evolutionism in Modern Chinese Literature and the transition of the time concept and the participation of the time consciousness. Then I discuss the relationship between the existence theme in Modern Chinese Literature and the participation of time concept and time consciousness. And I discuss the relationship between the historical consciousness in Modern Chinese Literature and the participation of time concept and time consciousness.
