Ecological Aesthetics In Gesar

The purpose in writing this paper is to dig, abstract and tidy up ecological aesthetic thought in epic from Gesar—a Tibetan's epic, and through farther analysis and study, attempt to construct basic theoretic frame of ecological aesthetics in Gesar. This paper is divided into two parts: the cultural background and the main content of ecological aesthetic thought in Gesar.In part one, for the cultural background of ecological aesthetic thought in Gesar, Tibetan came out an idea: harmony between man and nature. This basic idea is related to modern ecology. It emphasizes harmonious relations between human and the nature, calls for ecological balance on the precondition of worshiping nature.
