The ethical thought of Rousseau possesses naturalistic feature obviously. As a naturalist, Rousseau not only searches out the theological base of morality from outer nature, but also discovers the good feeling base that can be cultivated into virtues in human nature. One is a dialectic and rational base, and the other an experiential and emotional one. But the two bases are all in order to mold the human morality. The putridness from social civilization makes the dissimilation of the society and human beings. Rousseau's theory of moral education shows concerns for resisting the smirch to human nature from bias and habitude, and understanding and obeying the naturalist laws, developing the potential of moral emotion to help people to take cognizance of the God's order from Faramita world, cultivating a steady character and virtues consequently. Based on the loyal belief to the human nature, Rousseau thinks that is possible to bring human being to a happy and free realm.
