Rousseau(1712-1778)is a world famous thinker.He has made outstanding contributions in many academic fields such as political science,philosophy,education,and aesthetics.Its contribution to the aesthetic field is mainly reflected in the research of aesthetic education.Rousseau is called "the son of nature",and his idea of aesthetic education can also be called "naturalism" aesthetic education thought.In fact,"Nature",as a new type of cultural expression,has become a unique symbol of Rousseau's theory and has always been used by Rousseau's numerous ideas.Rousseau's naturalistic aesthetic education theory is only one aspect of many of his theories.The reason why he constructed this kind of thinking is because of his extreme attention to education.There is no doubt that Rousseau's emphasis on education is not unrelated to his thinking and care for the entire society.In fact,there is inherent logic between Rousseau's "science and art theory","the theory of the origin of human society's inequality","social contract theory",and "Emile theory".For this reason,understanding Rousseau's aesthetic education thought needs to be linked to its entire academic thought and placed in the context of social culture at that time.Specifically,Rousseau's naturalism aesthetic education thought can be understood from several aspects.First,Rousseau's naturalism aesthetic education thought contains the quality of modernity.For example,"Emil" is to cultivate "reasonable people".However,he is also full of vigilance towards reason.This is reflected in his reflection on whether science and art are conducive to the progress of social civilization.There is no doubt that Rousseau's esthetic education thought has a face of resistance to enlightenment and rationality,revealing the contradictions and tensions inherent in modernity.Second,Rousseau's naturalistic aesthetic education thought has the dimension of political philosophy.He advocates cultivating "natural persons",which are rich in criticism of "civilized people";his discourse on natural alienation and emotional alienation is undoubtedly also a reflection on the inequality between people;he argues on the public life.There is a justification for public minds.Thirdly,the concept of universe,the humanity and ecology,and the narrative of the interrelationship between human and nature embodied in Rousseau's aestheticeducation theory all show the outstanding ecological wisdom in Rousseau's aesthetic education theory.Rousseau's unique aesthetic education theory has its profound theoretical connotation,embodies the fierce criticism and warmhearted care of social ills as a sociologist and critic,and is entrusted as an outstanding thinker under the social conditions at that time.The ideal of the construction and transformation of the future society,as well as the philosopher and educator's deep philosophizing of human life education and aesthetic education.Rousseau's thought of naturalism and aesthetic education has had a profound influence in later generations,and he has been inspired by the construction of aesthetic education in China and the construction of ecological aesthetic education in the process of modernity.
