The highly development of internet technology not only brings convenience to people's work, study and life, but also makes some people use internet unlimitedly, affecting their physical and mental health greatly. Internet Addiction has become a major concern of psychologists at home and abroad. As the major Internet users, college students' psychological behaviors are influenced greatly by Internet. The research is to explore the relationship among Internet use, Internet addiction and mental health of college students in Internet Times.Total 1588 college students were sampled from 4 universities in Inner Mongolia by cluster random sampling. They were required to fill out the related questionnaires truthfully and were divided into two groups: Addiction Group and Normal Group. The result is as follows:1. The Internet Addiction Scale has a good reliability and validity.2. Most College students of Inner Mongolia can use Internet scientifically, reasonably and healthily. 93.66% (1271/1357)college students use Internet; They surf online mainly at school's computer room (50.7%) and Internet cafes (43.7%); The average age of them is 2.85 years old; They surf online 2.27 times a week and 4.65 hours a week in average; The major purpose of surfing online is to get various information (43.9%), to amuse themselves(33.8%), to contact with family members and friends(33.5%) and to learn knowledge and skills(19.8%); General services online mainly includes information inquiry(50.0%), chat room online(37.6%), multi-media amusement(37.5%), software uploads and downloads(19.5%) and e-mail(17.6%).
