This thesis analyzes particular headline syntax forms in Miss Seeing and Hearing of New People Evening Newspaper, and suppose that the influence of space factors can lead to the change of Chinese syntax forms. The space factors that may lead to the changes of the headline syntax forms are enumerated through comparing the headline syntax forms with the corresponding text sentences. These space factors usually influence the syntax forms of Chinese newspaper headline sentences together.Headline area--it decides the number of headline characters. Theheadline must summarize the content of the text, so the reduce of the number of characters means the inadequacy of some components, and influence the syntax structure of headlines.The change of the script and size of characters -- If the script and size ofcharacters change, the components can be manifested out of the whole structure. At the same time, the grammar meaning that the components express also can be manifested. In this situation, some components that express grammar meaning in the original linear structure will be replaced. So the whole structure changes.The usage of blank space -- as a grammar medium, the arrangement of ideashas more expression functions in Chinese than in other languages. Blank spaces can be the expressing medium of the arrangement of ideas and replace the grammar components that have the functions originally.Punctuation mark-- in Chinese newspaper utterance, the punctuation markhas more influences, replace some form words, and express some grammar meaning.We think these four factors influence Chinese newspaper headline sentences alternately and are main factors to lead to the change of Chinese newspaper headline syntax forms.
