From the realistic,to imaginary, fable and absurdness,then to the latest novels,Yan Lianke's works move the historical veil and covery,bring us different rural communities,military , officialdom and culture.But by the now,many studies on his works are still very limited,either on theme or on language without systematic analyse .This study method separates art character and spirit,so readers can't understand the writer's works thoughout.With this background,this article tries to analyse deeply his works' contemporary contain and art spirit by narration and narrative so as to realize all-sides appraisal.This article probes into the works from four respects :First,sense of narrative ,it expounds Yan Lianke constructs his sense world by using synaethesis and synaethesis metaphor.This world creats sensory stimulus and true sense impression,comes into strange , abnormal esthetic effect;Second,experience of narrative,discuss Yan claims his thinking about existence life by discribing tribulation and death;Third,irony of narrative,from power,military ,history and politics,it tries to discover the author how to contral narrative that exposes esthetic value;Forth,folk of narrative,it finds Yan is familiar with dialect words, folk life ,at the same time the writer expresses his complicated feeling to the rural in this way.
