New product development must be pursued in a correct way from the beginning to win the market competition. Then, product design planning becomes obviously important. This paper discussed the product design planning based on full understanding of user experience, under the new experience economy environment.At first, this paper clarifies the headspring and features of experience economy. Secondly, we analyze the concept of product and combined with Japanese"DOGUOLOGY", we build a new comprehension of product. Thirdly, knowing the three levels of product design help us analyzing the basic point of product design planning. These entire thesis, laid a foundation for further research.Form the relationship between user value and product value the paper clarifies that the user value defines the product value, and the satisfaction of user experience improved the user value then the product value. Subsequently the paper analyzed all 5 kinds of experience: Sense, Feel, Think, Act, and Relate. Through experiential matrix, the tool contacts them with product design attributes. Combining with 3 levels thesis of design that we could coordinate the clue of design planning.What is the user expected experience, how to catch the information, such questions we will find the answer through traditional market research method and ethnography research, and the paper proposed 4 aspects of promotion in user research. Than, this paper discussed the process of product design planning by using iNPD process for reference, and made a new planning process based on user experience in a creative way. Finally, we analyzed the execution of product design planning through the case of Zibra, which the author participated in person.At last, the paper finalize all the describe problems in this paper, and provide necessary suggestion for the follow-up job arrangement.
