The Illustrious Religion (Jing Jiao) is a Sub-School of Christianity in the West during Middle Ages, i.e. Nestorians, addressed itself in China during the Tang Dynasty. It officially came into China in the year Seventh of Zhen guan in Tang Dynasty (A.D.635). Tang Dynasty enjoyed the broadly spirit of all-embracing, vigorous and versatile, and the Nestorians well-known as "Mysterious for nothing" and "Relieving human beings in need" ("Almanac of Tang Dynasty"Vol.49) as it's essential Characteristics as well. Nestorians analogous as Taoism—The national religion of the Tang Dynasty as well as Confucianism practiced loyalty, filial piety, virtue and morality. Described on the Eulogizing the Propagation of the Illustrious Religion in China. "The starving persons, who come, should be fed. The frozen people, who comes, should be offered clothes for warmth. The patients comes, would be medically care until recovered completely. The Dead should be buried with condolence." In fact the Nestorian integrated with society of the Tang Dynasty very rapidly and further influence in many aspects in that age.
