"Home complex" is essentially a kind of ramification of the culture identity, which is a literary motif widely existing in Chinese and foreign countries literature and in the course of creation of authors, and which has been an antique and everlasting complex with the evolution of the human being. "Home", as the ownership of spirit of persons, possesses so strong centripetal force and cohesion that the persons give birth to yearner towards "home" especially when they are experiencing the failure, drifting on the strange land and undergoing the helplessness. This force is bound to appear and come into being a kind of "complex" once it is pressed (such as drifting, exiling).Since the birth of the culture, there has been a relationship explaining each other between the "home" and the culture, that is, the former standing for the latter or the latter representing the former. Hence, the "home" which connotation is the "culture" vaulted away from the category of individual and accumulated to be collective unconscious. The expression of the collective unconscious is just "culture identity". As for Taiwanese literature, it is the identity and attachment of Han culture, that is, Chinese traditional culture. Its external conformation is expressed as hometown, mother, end-result of soul, spirit support and related images with symbolistic implications. Because "home complex", as both the individual unconscious and the collective unconscious, exists in the mind of creator, it inevitably has an effect on the creations of authors and the formation of productions. In the same way, this complex appears in the Taiwanese literature, and its expression is more marked as a result of multiple causes. Taiwanese literature which is an indivisible component of Chinese literature, bears particular characteristics in the process of its birth and development, while the women's literary creation supporting half of area in Taiwanese literature holds all kinds of ideological inclinations and colorful artistic styles.
