Analyses And Reflections On Recent 20 Years' Research On Emotional Psychology(EP) In China

In the recent 20 years, with the development of the Reform and Opening-up and the revitalization of psychological science, the research on emotional psychology has made great progress in China. It has not only bred numerous fruits at both aspects of theory and practice , but also engendered far-flung influences on various fields of education and social life. Accordingly, people's expectations in EP have dramatically increased. They hope that EP could set psychological bases for various hot social issues such as quality cultivation, creativity education, social accommodation, psychological health, etc. In this background, a retrospection of the developping course of EP in the latest 20 years in China is rather necessary, because it can not only help us see clearly the skeleton of the past development of EP in China but also promote our future research at a higher level.In this article, statistics on the articles on EP in the period 1985—2004 in China will be shown, and analyses through the statistic data on the annually increasing number and annual changes of the theses of these articles will be presented. Through the analyses, the author will finally give a general prognostication on the future trend of EP in China.
