Reflection On Psychology Chinalization By Comparing Traditional Thinking-Style And Value-Orientation Between China And America

From a cultural perspective, the paper analyses and compares the basic structure of traditional Chinese culture as well as its traits with those of traditional American culture. On the basis of the distinction between them, this paper analyses and compares traditional thinking-style and value-orientation of two countries. Finally, reviewing the development of Indigenous Psychology and the progress of Psychology Chinalization, the author probes into the revelation rising from the comparison between Chinese and American traditional thinking-style and value-orientation, and hopes that the revelation could be offered to the development and prosperity of psychology in China as well as psychology all over the world.
