Vincent van Gogh made a deep and superexcellent track in the history of art. The success and repute of his works tie up with his solemn and stirring life, and the individual history of Vincent is an important focus of multifarious studies, whatever in circle of art or the academic world. Complex of Generation is an important theory elicited by Professor Huo Datong through a contrast of the Chinese and Western unconscious, which knows from Oedipus complex, this theory is eximious guidance to comprehending the structure of Chinese unconscious. This article make anew a textual research of Vincent's individual history from the point of view of the Psychoanalysis with literature inducing, comparing and analyzing and case study, and conclude that in fact the progress of Vincent is a recurrence of his ancestors', which is a form of the Complex of Generation.First at all, we make a textual research of Vincent's family history, and know they have two traditions: art and religion, his name come from the name of his grandfather's uncle who was an artist and his grandfather was a priest. Therefore, from the symbolic dimensionality, we can say before the birth of Vincent he had born two unconsciousness desires from his ancestors.Next, we analyze Vincent's progress concretely, including his relation with his father, mother and brother Theo.
