It is new to carry through peer counseling in school mental health education in China. Counseling skill is very important part among counseling quality of peer counselors; the counseling skills function to peer counselors' counseling quality and counseling effects was studied. In Exp 1, with 184 senior high school students as subjects, and Tennessee Self-concept Scale and Counseling Skills Evaluation Scales as instruments, pre-post test between-subject factorial design was adopted to compare skills function to peer counselors' counseling quality under different skills training groups. In Exp 2, with 113 senior high school students as subjects, and Achievement Adaptive Test as instrument, pre-post test between-subject factorial design was adopted to compare effects of peer group counseling on achievement under different skills training groups. In Exp 3, with 113 senior high school students as subjects, and Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale, Interaction Anxiousness Scale, Social Avoidance and Distress Scale, Shyness Scale, The Self-Esteem Scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale as instruments, pre-post test between-subject factorial design was adopted to compare effects of peer group counseling on interpersonal relations under different skills training...
