Bullying is a special type of aggressive behavior. In this situation,a relatively strong power of the parties oppresses the weaker side. The emergence of bullying is not innate. It is due to the emergence of a variety of maladjustment in the process of children's socialization, which has become the main source of campus violence and social problems that needs to be solved.Previous studies have found that there are many problems existing in the aspects of peer relationship, empathy level, cognitive ability and so on.Psychological counseling can reduce the negative impact of bad behavior on the individuals.Based on the review of past literatures,we adopt the approach “the experimental group-contrast group-blank group before and after the test.”We choose students engaged in bullying behavior in junior high school as the research objects to observe the effects of Peer relationship group guidance on reducing junior high school students' behavior of bullying in order to provide some empirical basis to reduce the interpersonal conflict and bullying between students.Three classes of grade 7 and grade 8 in a middle school in Zhuzhou Hunan including 303 students were selected to be investigated. We use Smith's,Professor Chen Shiping's children's bullying questionnaire(middle school edition)and GuoBoliang's compiled children peer relationship questionnaire as measuring tools to respectively pretest on bullying behavior and peer relationship of junior middle school students.Based on the results of pretesting,we set up experimental group and contrast group and blank control groupat random, conducting group counseling on experimental group and general counseling on control group respectively. This period lasted for8 weeks, for 1 class(45 minutes)once a week.we did deal with the blank group as other two groups.During the educational activities, the class teachers were invited to participate in the group counseling activities of the experimental group, and to talk with some members of the experimental group face to face.At the same time,we trained some supporters to do assistant work. After the educational activities,we conducted post-test on the three groups about bullying and peer relationships,in order to understand the effects of peer group counseling. All data were analyzed through SPSS for windows 19.The results show that:1.There was a significant positive correlation between peer relationship and bullying behavior(r=0.489**,p=0.001).2.Before the psychological counseling, there was no significant difference between the experimental group, the control group and the blank group. However, the differences between boys and girls were significant.3.After the psychological counseling, compared with the control group and the blank group, the scores of bullying and peer relationships of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group or the control group, and the difference between the two groups was significant. The conclusion of this study are as follows:1.The bullying behavior of junior high school students is closely related to their peer relationship.2.Group counseling based on peer relationship can effectively improve the peer relationship of junior high school students and reduce the occurrence of bullying among students.
