The Exploitation And Use Of Mineral In Lingnan District During Song Dynasty

The mineral manufacture in Song dynasty played an important role in the ancient Chinese mineral manufacture history. During Song dynasty, the mineral manufacture in Lingnan district had developed rapidly and caught the leading place on the whole country. The thesis discusses: 1 .the geographic occurrence of the minerals, including gold, silver, copper, iron, lead and tin, in the Lingnan district (except Hainan Island); 2.the developing trend of manufacture of the minerals hereinbefore in Song dynasty, the distribution and using of the mineral products; 3.analyses the mutual connection between the Lingnan mineral manufacture and the environment, both social and natural. The mineral manufacture would be an exuberance industry with the compatible timing, favorable geographical position and support of people.
