The records of mythology system in the Classic Book of Mountains and Seas is choosed as the topic of this dissertation.Myth is referred to the depicting of imagines and manages or narrating of stories about gods. Mythology system is a comprehensive collection of myth narrating or recording. Myth recording is information about mythology that saved by documents ,characters, pictures or patterns and sculptures. Myth narrating is the vivid fairytales or legends accounted by the aboriginals. Systematics is the natures of system. Because of different motivations, methods and intentions recording may be equal or not equal to narrating. Systematicness can reflect system and the latter can be recovered through the analysis of the latter.The following are the main ideas of this dissertations :Reviewing the fruits of the pre-researchers, the dissertation revises the time, area and editor of the Classic Book of Mountains and Seas, which was compiled in four steps: the Wasted Book was collected by the Song People in the time between Western Zhou and Spring and Autumn period, the materials of the royal court of Shang or Zhou Dynasty being adopted; the contents of the left two parts, compiled by the Zhou royal court ,are come from some legends of Shang Dynasty ( recount by the Zhou ethnic group of course) and the Picture of Mountains and Rivers as well as the Assemble Picture of King Cheng of Zhou Dynasty; then the Chu People re-edited them; at last ,the Wasted Book and the referred two parts had amalgamated to form a...
