A Review Of Zheng Wang-chen And His Posthumous Works

Zheng Wang-chen, a Putian writer in the Qian Long Dynasty, outstands for his works such as Lan Gai's Poetry Anthology, Lan Gai's Parallel Prose and A Huangshi Hermit's Poetry Anthology ; and for his compilation Putian Natives' Poetry Anthology with Lan Gai's Poetry Talks attached. The latter two books not only sum up all the poems of Putian writers before the Qian Long Dynasty, but also put forward many useful viewpoints of literature, which is of great reference value to our study of Fujian local literature and documents today.
