During the years of Kangxi,Songluo compiled the work Anthology of Fifteen Poets inJiangzuo and also made this group well-known in Jiangnan at the later period of Kangxi.Among them,Gu Sili was a famous one,who won people’s recognition by his great workcalled Anthology of Yuan Dynasty which helped him enter the poetry field at that time.However,because that piece of work was so celebrated that it covered up his achievementsin poetry creation and his status in poetry field of Kangxi was also ignored by people. Thispaper turns the point from his anthology to his creation of poetry trying to explore theeffect of Gu Sili and the Fifteen Poets in Jiangzuo on the poem changes of Qing Dynasty. Itwill be discussed mainly from four aspects.1.His family and life. His family background and experiences of the imperialexamination career as well as his roaming will be helpful for us to grasp the Gu Sili’s lifepursuit and poetic ideas comprehensively in the following part.2.The emotional connotation of his poem. Gu Sili is a productive writer. Through theanalysis and discussion of poetry,we can have a further understanding of the ups anddowns of his idea. His poems paid much attention to the personal emotion but little to thesocial reality.3.Theory of his poem and art style. In praise of Dufu,Gu Sili supposed to learn fromHan、Su and liked to quote authoritative works and choose the very words as well as tobreak the narrow prejudice about other group and accept to absorb anything and everything.From his work,we can feel his true emotion and find his heroic art style. His artisticconception sometimes is elegant and sometimes surprising and puzzling.4.Individual and group status in literature history. The diversity of his poetry styleenriched the poem writing in the poetry field of Kangxi times and the fifteen poets covereda very wide field of poetry writing. They played a very important role in the process ofpoem transition from the early to mid in Qing Dynasty.
