Liu Xiang is a famous table of contents scientist, literati, historian and thinker as well. He has a deep influence on the history of Chinese literary even the whole history of Chinese culture. However, the common history of literature, even if mentioned him, with merely few words, which can not be symmetric with the actual literature achievement of Liu. Especially the understanding to these three books 《Xin Xu》,《Shuo Yuan》 and 《Lie Nv Zhuan》 is insufficient. Comments mostly from the text recognized, the work content, the artistic feature aspect, other aspects commentaries are less. Therefore, this article namely take this three books as research object, Analyzes three books from ethics angle ethics thought, and analyzes the reason which it forms, gives value and affirmation which Liu's three books should have. Avoids as far as possible in the analysis process copying mechanically and applying slavishly the western classical ethics theory, But mainly profits from traditional ethics, and massive utilization vivid bright instance from the three books, Uses the comparison method, Strives for difference from the common. Attempts to prominent the humanities spirit of Liu's three book's ethics thought, By Confucianism ethics primarily, Concurrently takes the two ethics thought from FA JIA and DAO JIA.The main conclusion of this article is: In the later period of Western Han Dynasty, the precarious politics situation, rich and also complex socialappearance as well as Liu's special status forms the Characteristic of these three books, precisely based on this ethics thought characteristic, Causes Liu's three books is not sending thinks the ancient exquisite feeling, but can relate the social reality at that time, by ancient warning now.
