Social Ideas Of Gong Zizhen

From the sociological perspective, this thesis deeply studies Gong Zizhen's social ideas systematically on the basis of the framework of sociological analysis. It includes these respects: socialized ideas, social ideal, and the production and the characteristics of social ideas. The paper holds that, firstly, Gong Zizhen took the short of elites as one of the important reasons that the peaceful society in the middle and later periods of the Qing Dynasty fell into disorder. Starting with the folk qualities, he criticized all kinds of morbidity and their roots and then put forward his own proposition about ideal personality and its socialized environment. Secondly, Gong Zizhen made a further discussion mainly about economy. He believed that too much difference between the poor and the rich is the root of social crisis, and proposed the opinion of"self-reformation"and designed an ideal kingdom by exposure and animadversion in politics, economy and officialdom. Although his design of the politics and society still did not break away from the hedge of feudalism, it had the significance of enlightenment at that time.Thirdly, based on the respects of Gong Zizhen's social ideas, the thesis analyzes the reasons why Gong Zizhen bourgeoned this social ideas according to his family, ideology, the times he was in and so forth, and further discusses the characteristics of his social ideas.In sum, by the inference from result to reason, the thesis studies Gong Zizhen's social ideas, mainly using the theory of sociology and politics, Marxist philosophy and socio-psychology etc. It highlights the innovation and enlightenment significance of his social ideas.
