With the unheard-of flourish and widely spreading of Chongqing's Thespian performance, the drama-performance theory was showing a flourishing phenomena in the Period of the Second World War. Especially in the deadlock of the War, the crowd were not satisfied with the simple drumbeating effect but higher-quality work of art. In order to meet the people's need, the group of Thespian theory was translating works, publishing papers and organizing discussion to search the way to promote the drama-performance level. That Thespian publications and theory monographs greatly came forth displayed the achievement. There were more than forty-six kinds of publications about drama-performance theory just according to incomplete Stat. from 1937 to 1945. From these publications'content, the translation, research and learning mostly surrounded the Soviet Thespian performance and Stanislavsikian System in the War. The tropism of the group of Chongqing's drama was not incidental. The similar culture and social developing history of China and Soviet Union, the same aesthetics view and the System's world-wide influence made the group of Chongqing's drama to focus the System. It's clear that the System promoted the development and consummation of Chongqing's drama-performance theory in the period of WW II, the foundation of realistic drama-performance system and the advance of the whole Thespian group by coordinating, analyzing and researching Chongqing's drama-performance theory in the Period of WW II. Meanwhile, there were some mistakes when the group of Chongqing's drama studied and used the System and some drama-performance problems for reference. There were three reasons leading to it. The most important reason was that there was lacking of the system's datum. Thus, the Group difficultly had a whole , all-sided and scientific cognition, and tended to look on Stanislavsikian early Thespian thoughts as his whole thoughts. Therefore, they were lacking of understanding to Stanislavsikian later constantly developing thoughts. Secondly, the tendency of the System's sanctification and doctrinairism also restricted the people's cognition when the group studied and used the System for reference. Finally, the unilateralism of the System in its forepart was the ultimate reason that led to the cognitive disorder. Generally , the quite great progress of Chongqing's drama-performance theory and practice was deeply associated with the guide of Stanislavsikian theory though there were some cognitive unilateralism.
