The restoring ancient ways is a kind of strategy that carrying forward its good traditions to develop the Chinese traditional painting and restore the ancient spirit of painting, it doesn't imitate completely. At the end of the 20th century, The New Literati Painting raised the traditional banner and take the manner carrying forward its good traditions to develop the Chinese traditional painting, actually it is also a kind of strategy. Through analyzing The New Literati Painting's contemporary condition and the strong vitality of the development in modern times, it revealed that if the painters want to develop the Chinese traditional painting and look for various exits, the restoring ancient ways is also a feasible manner. However, although The New Literati Painting has already obtained some achievement in the traditional realm, these are still not enough. The development of Chinese painting needs all Chinese paintings to study the traditional painting with great concentration, looking for and analyzing the classic element of traditional Chinese painting and finding the developmental regulation. Only the thousands person would like to be a pavior that unknown to public, the Chinese painting will make progress unremittingly and innovation.
