The "Jinghu Lake Poetry" this article researches was written by the Southern Song Dynasty poet Lu You(1125-1209 AD), in which he took the rural life of the peasants and his own in Jinghu Lake drainage basin of his hometown Shaoxing as his major poetry subjects. "Jinghu Lake Poetry" was richly embraced almost all the scenes of the countryside in the Chiangnan area of the Southern Song Dynasty. It included the traditional lyric idylls, and a big amount of true-life village poems based on Lu You's long-term inhabitancy in the countryside.In the intermediate stage of the Southern Song Dynasty, along with the gradual restoration of the country's strength, and the signing of "The Shaoxing Peace Treaty" between Song and Jin Kingdom, the balanced state has been roughly formed between the two countries. The occupation of the northern part of China by other Kingdoms has been accepted as a fact, and the relative stability urged the economy of the Southern Song Dynasty rapidly recovering especially in the Chiangnan area.
