The Renaissance Of Classical Poetry In South East Asia

This thesis examines and analyses the outstanding Chinese classical poetry of Pan Shou, a national treasure of Singapore. It discusses the historical events in different phases of Pan Shou's life and how these events affected the poet's motive, thoughts and the conception of his poems.
