FLASH: A New Form Of Web Arts

This thesis consists of seven chapters, which respectively discuss and completely research the special optical forms and culture phenomenon bringed by a recently digital media. This thesis discuss the special way of optical expression from the technical concrete character and the relation of it and some other art forms, and the influence of web on the interaction and transmit. Through above discuss, open out the differences of Flash animation from other traditional art forms and the reason of its prevalence. And expose the dependence of digital art form of web.The first chapter is composed of two parts, it gives an account of the course of the appearance of the software- flash. Especially focus on the speciality of the technical exploitation. And how it spread abroad and how arose the fashion of flash animation. The second chapter tells about all kinds of flash animation in on web and the characters. The third chapter analyze the diversiform optical forms what the digital technique bring. The forth and fifth chapter contrast flash to traditional cartoons and to digital art and web art. The sixth chapter is mainly about finding out the reasons of the influende of flash animation. There are two main reasons, one is the influence of cartoon and cute images; the other is its convenient manipulation. And the seventh chapter proceeds to reveal the issues of the diffusion media-web.Flash animation is so fresh that there is nearly no information of research about it except on software. This thesis through abundant investigation on flash animation and take a candid attitude. The main research work adopt demonstration way, the point of view come from the social research and transmition. Flash animation is a new media product. And it is hard to it that live without web. Web provide the feasibility of the interaction function of flash. But it is web too maybe baffle the development of flash.
