Research On The Basic Theory And Method Of Human-centered Housing Space Design

Although the diversity of design thought and approach has come into being by reason of the complexity of design,"human-centered design"still keeps its leading factor at all circles in early 21st century of China. Design practice contains rich society humanity factors on the basis of arts and technology combination. No matter what kind of advocations, such as healthy design, biology design or green design, the service objective of design, to meet the needs of consumers, should not be ignored.Focusing on housing space design, this paper is based on some sociological theories to discuss the relationship between family and building, to analyse the signification of building design. The key point of this paper is that designers should pay more attention on details of users'daily life, look for useful clues, and should not be perplexed by sketching papers. Three meanings of human-centered housing space design summarized in this paper are"home","culture"and"beauty". Aiming at these meanings, we do our best to logistically organize a system of research model and working program to practice human-centered design targets. The key of whole design operation system is how to research the users and their experiences. Traditional design methods, including education and evaluation of design, need to be more systemic and reasonable. As a portion of the paper,"FPI - three dimensions design"model can be used as a practical ruler to evaluate human-centered housing space design.This paper particularly emphasizes on design management. At the same time, cross-disciplinary research, such as sociology, environmental psychology, economical management, and architecture etc., are integrated to provide comprehensive perspectives for the topic of the paper.
