In the background of experience economy and consumer-centered concept,packaging design come up with new demands in stead of only staying on the levels of functional,practical and beautiful.And accompanied by the wave of the Internet and the rise of interactive design,emotional design, service design and user research,their idea&method continuously impact packaging design,packaging design needs to enrich itself for keeping pace with the times by expanding the dimensions in experience to usability, interaction,emotion.Only by this way,can Consumers be given full play to the senses, act, think,associations and spirit, improve the efficiency and satisfaction when experiening the connotation and extension of packaging services.This research is based on the above present situation and demands,by researching the elaboration definition of the existing packaging, consumers, experience study concepts,Discussed the background and evolution of customer centered experienced package design in details.Combining with the user research, interaction, emotion or other related theory and method,defined the Experienced Package Design of Customer Centered as:On the premise of to consumers centered,put the concept of interaction design, ergonomics, psychology and marketing into packaging design,to obtain the demands and motivation of consumers and convert them into packaging design elements.Firstly,took an actual user study on the Experienced Package Design of Customer Centered.Through the Qualitative research methods of observation,interview,participatory experimenton on Participants,took a better know about the State and change of package customers’ cognition and behavior when they experience all process of package services,as well as their Satisfaction and dissatisfaction,then divided the experience levels and needs into three parts according to packing in instinct,behavior,the reflection layers which based on customers’ cognition and behavior. Secondly,combined with the desk research and practical research,summarized the design principles into four aspects: understandability, usability, interactivity, emotionality.These four aspects are based on ‘cognition-behavior-behavior-cognition’-packaging requirements progressive hierarchy.This steps are preparation for design methods.Thirdly,refined and improved the principle.Concluded the output-specific strategy and design methods of Experienced Package Design of Customer Centered: express packaging’s tool function,enhance the interaction characteristics,gift packaging emotional experience,then change identity of designer and consumer.
