Death Psychology is a very important part of Japanese culture. From the ancient time to today, Japanese culture is full of death breath, which can be observed from the literary writings and social realities. Japanese are not fear of death and dare to look for death. We can see this clearly from the Japanese literary writings and Japanese attitude for death in the World War Two. Japanese have the death spirit. Why do they have such kind of death spirit and death psychology? And what kind of psychology is this? We are just going to probe into this topic.San Dao, Chuan Duan and Chun Shang are all eminent writers of Japan. Their works fully reflect Japanese culture, which is admitted by the world. Mo Yan said in San Dao Guess that we should find the true face of writers from their writings. Literary works can reflect not only the character of the writers themselves, but also the social and cultural features at that time. The paper will study works of the three writers, the suicide of San Dao and Chuan Duan and the potential causes of the suicide from the point of the psychoanalysis and imagery symbol and accordingly probe into the death psychology of Japanese. I think that it makes sense to study the death psychology in Japanese culture, which can make us know more Japanese culture and many abnormal behaviors of Japanese. We can see from the study that death is the embodiment of Japanese vital value point of view. I just want to quote a sentence in Forest of Norway of Chun Shang as the conclusion: Death is not the opposite of the life, but is the part of life perpetually.
