The empty words of inscriptions on bronze in XiZhou era are the important contents of inscriptions on bronze as well as important contents of syntax, which are helpful to unscramble the inscriptions on bronze. The traditional of study was to compartmentalize the empty words by their part of speech, which was good for explaining the difference of their arrangement, on the other hand was lack for missing their nuances . The study used several systemic resorts to study on the empty words of inscriptions on bronze in XiZhou era. Firstly, the author compartmentalized the empty words of inscriptions on bronze into eight systems, and paid more attention to the first five systems of empty words.In the exordium, the fundamental and standard of the system were mainly discussed. In the first chapter, human-object and content-object were clearly explained, and a simple way to Distinguish the part of speech of six empty words "即,以, 及,会,(?),于" ; In the second chapter, double negative was Mentioned, the different function of the empty word "毋" between XiZhou era and aftertime was discussed; In the third chapter, the order of the connective in the sentence was discussed; In the fourth chapter, 8 time categories were created , the different positions of the empty words in time system were pointed out; In the fifth chapter, the empty words of sobriety Mood was mainly discussed according to the contents of the inscriptions on bronze in XiZhou era. The other three empty word systems were adequately discussed , therefore, the amount counting was supplied . The frequency about empty words were counted in the addenda to show the panorama of the empty words of inscriptions on bronze in XiZhou era.
