JingLing Eight Friends Group is a writer group in YongMing years of South Qi Dynasty. It was convened by Jingling Duke Xiao Ziliang, included Fan Yun, Xiao Chen, Ren Fang, Wang Rong, Xiao Yan, Xie Tiao, Shen Yue, Lu Chui. Besides these eight persons, the Western Mansion of Jingling Duke Xiao Ziliang also gathered more than eighty writers, it was a big group. This group promoted the development of literature and buddhism in South Qi Dynasty, produced the YongMing Pattern, it has made a very big contribution to the cultural development.Acturally, JingLing Eight Friends Group have important historical impact on the politics in the dynasty of Qi and Liang, expect for the literature, which is related to the early activities in the Western Mansion of JingLing Duke Xiao Ziliang. The political behavior and thought of Xiao Ziliang affected the political orientation of the eight friends, thus affected their destinies in some kinds of degree. The individuality of the eight friends manifested in the Throne Event ,which occurred in the last year in YongMing. When Wu Emperor of Qi Dynasty made Xiao Zhaoye the next king, Ziliang who should be made the king took a coup, which was failed.
