The Trimming And Research On FengXun's Ziliang Poetry Anthology

Feng Xun(1796～1871), styled himself Ziliang,was born in GuangDong PuShu (now Guangzhou).In 1819,that was in the 24th year of Jiaqing(Qing Dynasty),he was a provincial graduate.In 1820,that was in Jiaqing 25,he became a metropolitan graduate.But his careers were frustrated.Until 43 years old,he wasn't the county magistrate of Yongfeng prefecture of JiangXi,and started his careers in JiangXi.After that,he was chosen to be the county magistrate of FuLiang prefecture, prefect of WuCheng prefecture,magistrate of JiuJiang prefecture, magistrate of RaoZhou prefecture and was in charge of GanZhou's Military affairs.When he was old, he was promoted to be the magistrate.Totally,he had been the JiangXi's officials for about 30 years and that is rare among officials at the same time. After he retired for age,he was responsible for teaching in Ji'an college.Then he died for illness in YuZhang Jue Yuan at 76.Twenty-two chapters'Ziliang peotry anthology'are his works.So far no one conducted the systemic researches on his careers and his poems.Feng Xun grew up in the family who were expert in poems.He was not only diligent in political affairs,but also loved his pelple.And he was a connotative poet but went through kinds of vicissitudes.Many people thought highly of his poems,for example Zhang Weiping,Guo Yixiao and Zeng Guofan.His poems are tolerant and philosophical but contain rich implications.His poems are very numerous and the versions of'Ziliang peotry anthology'are affluent.This paper had an exploration from the poems per se,and researched the contents and values of the peotry anthology from the aspects about his life,his fame in parnassus,the educational foundation of his family,his official's careers and differences among different versions and the method of textual research has been adopted to ascertain currently questionable events,such as the date of his birth,and his native place etc.It's worth emphasizing that most of'Ziliang peotry anthology'recorded his official's friends and the war of Taiping army in JiangXi what he had experienced during his offical period,so this paper took the poems on those in'Ziliang peotry anthology'as the trimming and study's object.His poems provide a detailed statement about his official's friends and different aspects about life. Making use of those poems and his friends'works,this paper expounded FengXun's official's friends,emphatically their relations and intercourse's form and analysed the war's state from the sight of a local official,described how the Qing army to fight the Taiping army and uncovered the negative effect what the conflict between the officers and soldiers brought about and the destructive side of this war.
