The Study On Music By The Anthropology Vision

The 20th century 80's, along with the development and progress of the anthropology in our country, the phenomenon which utilize the theory and the method of the anthropology to research human culture more and more. Under the anthropology sight to research music is a quite remarkable example. At first, this research is a supplement when anthropologists studied alien race's culture .Until the 19th century 80's, this research became an independent discipline take "ethnomusicology" as the name. In the overseas, the ethnomusicology had more than one hundred years history, had experienced two stages: the comparative musicology and the ethnomusicology. In our country, its history is very short. The symbol is "the first session academic conference of the nation ethomusicology" which convened in Nanjing in 1980. But, in this more than 20 years development course, this discipline has obtained the extremely remarkable achievement both in the theory aspect and in the practice aspect under the joint effort of the scholars. This paper includes three parts: Music research and its discipline establishment under the influence of the anthropology theory; Ethomusicology 's theory and method research; Practice analysis of the concrete music. And the paper will comprehensively elaborate these questions in order to provide a foundational material for later research of the educational world.
