Researches On The Poetry Of Clan Chao In The Song Dynasty In China

This dissertation sets the development of Song Poem as the background, studies Clan Chao's poem developments and its characteristics under the historical and cultural conditions in the Song Dynasty in particular. Through the research on Clan Chao's Poem, it intends to reflect the influences of the development of Song Poem to Clan Chao's Poem' s developments and the formation as well as the contributions the Clan Chao' s Poem to the Song Poem.The introduction part reviews the researches of the Clan Chao's Poem and demonstrates the significance of the subject selected.Chapter one is centered on the studies of Clan Chao' s Poem developments under certain background. Chao Jiong' s poem is characterized with 3 poetic styles. They are Bai-Style XiKun-Style and LateTang-Style. He is one of the inheritors of Tang poem at that time, especially the Late-Tang poem. Chao Duan-you is also an inheritor, meanwhile has some deviations from the Tang poem. Chao Bu-zhi's poem is characterized with allusion and Chao Yue-zhi's is with argumentation, which has enriched and perfected the feature of Song poem. Chao Chong-zhi's poem has the feature of boldness and introversion, and combined Tang poem with Song Poem. Chao Gong-su's poem embodies the integration of Tang Poem and Song Poem after Nan Song's Poem is opposite to the Song Poem.Chapter two discusses some similarities in clan poem. The characteristics includes: the poem has the tendency of pursuing peculiarity, owns the characters of slight complaint and isolation mood, full of consciousness of wandering and solitary. These characters are not evenly expressed; generally speaking, they belong to the distinguishing characteristics of clan poem.In the epilogue the author makes a discussion of those issues with which the dissertation has not been able to fully deal with.In the bibliography is listed the reference books consulted in writing this dissertation.
