The large scale discovery of Qin armour mainly includes two sites so far, which are pit of Terra-cotta Warriors (some dressed in armours) and pit of stone armours (Pit K9801). The armours , strictly say, from two sites are not functional armours of Qin Dynasty, but the models of Qin Armours were made on the purpose for the burial of Emperor Qin Shihuang. These models of the Qin Armours offer quite new information and widen the Qin and Han archaeological research. The research achievement on Qin Terra-cotta Warriors' Armours is relatively fruitful, while the research on the Stone Armours is insufficient and lack of comparison between both two as well. This paper aims to analysis and discuss on category, construction, display-style in site and production techniques, basing on the material information and combining the ancient documents. Further analysis and comparison on armour research will be pursued for having a new idea on quality, production and management of Qin Armours as well as its significance of armour developing history.
