A Study Of The Sounds, Techniques And Feelings Of The Pipa Song "Qin Terracotta Warriors"

Based on the well-known music material of "pottery figures of warriors and horses in mausoleum of first emperor of qin",Mr.Liu Dehai created the lute music of "Qin terracotta " in 1985,it combined innovative techniques with traditional techniques to explore new language,timbre and sound effects in pipa performance,which promoted the development of modern pipa music in the late 20 th century and presented the artistic features and values of the melody.From the perspective of the composer,the paper explored the tone,technique,and emotion in pipa performance.Through the analysis of composer,creation background,music material and music itself,the first chapter explained the ideological connotation the composer expressed;According to the deep understanding of the theme tune,musical structure and techniques,tonality distribution and other aspects,the second chapter "sound" accurately described the artistic character shaped by sound form of the melody;Taking the innovative twisted strings,innovative harmonics and other performance techniques as an example,the third chapter "technique" analyzed the performance skills of the melody in detail;The fourth chapter “Love” analyzed the emotional expression of the composer in pipa performance and discussed how to express delicate emotions in pipa performance,which will spiritually sublimate the performance of pipa.In the performance of pipa,the author completely understands that only with the integrity of arts,harmony of sound,technique and emotion,can the audiences emotionally resonate with the performer when they are appreciating the melody.
