The Study Of Chinese Western Film's Overseas Dissemination

This article will focus on the period after 1980s, and talk about theformation of Chinese western film and its influence on the world, which was led by Wu Tiangming and called "the new wave of Chinese film" by western film reviewers. Also it will show the contributions which were made by the fourth generation and the fifth generation filmmakers, such as Wu Tianming, Zhang Yimou and Chen Kaige, etc, and the innovations made by Jia Zhangke, Lu Chuan and Wang Quan'an. At last, this article will analysis the different rewards which Chinese western films got in international film festivals ,collect the data of film market which they shared to find out effect on diffusion of Chinese film produced by different values between the east and the west, and summarize the developing direction of Chinese western film in globalization.
