Cultural Characteristics And Tourism Resources Development Of Baima People In Wen County

Baima Chinese people had long history and unique traditional culture; and they lived in the mountain and valley of junction among three counties of Gansu and Sichuan provinces. However, there were little concern about them and lack of systematic research. In this paper, the author selected the Baima people who lived in Tielou maigong Village of Wen County in Gansu as a focal point. The author reflected the cultural characteristics and causes of Baima by words, pictures, audio, and county video data of two field surveys and developed and designed tourism recourses of living places by Baima Chinese People, in order to improve the local economic development, continuous development, fairly well-off construction and get economic benefit for whole Baima Chinese people by the practice of participating in tourism development with local community.This paper was divided into four parts:1. To make brief introduction and analysis of investigating area..2. Try to fully demonstrate the unique cultural characteristics of Baima people through field investigation and collection of ways of life, religious beliefs and customs of Baima people inWen County.3. To analyze and discuss the causes of the unique cultural of Baima people who lived in Wen County from historical,geographical,and other points of view.4. To put forward the principles, aims, subject image, and conception design of tourism development and the measures of protecting and continuous development of Baima people on the base of analysis on local tourism conditions.
