Content: This article briefly introduces the main characteristics of Taiping dialect, and mainly researches on the finals' repeating phenomenon,. The first chapter of this article is a brief introduction of the characteristics of Taiping dialect such as it circumstances and its system of Initial consonants, finals and intonations. The second chapter wholly introduces the finals' repeating phenomenon. There is abundant finals' repeating phenomenon in Taiping dialect, which is seldom seen in other Hakkas dialects. The effects of finals' repeating are very complex, and are determined by the changes of word categories, components of sentences and tones, so it is difficult to summarize some fundamental rules. But this article still tries to find out some grammatical and phonetic characteristics of such phenomenon. Many categories of words could have the finals' repeating phenomenon, and it has different meanings under different circumstances. The third chapter introduces many kinds of complex circumstances of the finals' repeating phenomenon of nouns. It can have different meanings of little names, lovely names, and vulgar names, and it could have some other implications. The fourth chapter researches on the finals' repeating phenomenon of other categories of words. The finals' repeating phenomenon of adjectives could mean the lightening of degree, and the finals' repeating phenomenon of verbs could have some peculiar effects such as converting verbs into nouns. Furthermore, pronouns, number-classifier phrases and adverbs could have finals' repeating phenomenon either. The fifth chapter researches the relationship between the finals' repeating phenomenon and the components of sentences, and the sixth chapter introduces the relationship between the finals' repeating phenomenon and the tones. These last two chapters are not long, but their content is an important part of this article, because it tries to research on the inside grammatical effects of the finals' repeating phenomenon.
